LeBron James’ Jacket Shows Exciting Nike and Tiffany & Co. Collaboration

Yesterday, after weeks of social media rumors, Nike and Tiffany & Co. unveiled their sneaker collaboration. The Nike x Tiffany & Co Air Force 1 1837 is an update of the classic AF1 design, which turns 40 this year, and comes in a black suede and “Tiffany blue” colorway. Being the first “legendary pair” of sneakers announced by Nike, big things are expected: high sales, major purchases by retailers, long waiting lists. It’s a big deal, alright! Putting your feet into the sneakers on March 7, the release day, might be challenging. But here’s some good news: there will be much more to try and buy. And this is not just a rumor. LeBron James has announced additional Tiffany and Nike pieces.

The NBA player was captured in the tunnel (a kind of catwalk for top American athletes heading to the field) of Madison Square Garden wearing a pair of Nike x Tiffany Co. shoes. Presumably the first to wear them. But what really caught the attention of sneakerheads was the Tiffany & Co. x Nike varsity jacket. Neither of the two brands had announced it. In black color, with gray striped edges, the jacket features Nike and Tiffany & Co. writings on the back and both logos embroidered on the front (in Tiffany blue, of course). It could be a unique piece for James. Or, more excitingly, it could be part of a package for friends and family (Nike did the same with Drake in the past, and no, we didn’t get one). In any case, the collaboration between Tiffany and Nike is still yielding results. And our desire for it continues.
