It’s been almost a year since the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 Diffused Blue started making waves (how time flies!) and now, after many months, the highly anticipated sneaker has officially arrived.

Based in Atlanta, A Ma Maniére is a brand that has a special relationship with Nike. After their initial collaboration in 2019 for an Air Force 1 collection, they have since worked on a major release almost every year, with best-selling models such as the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Ship. For their latest trainer, the American boutique has gone back to basics by crafting a Dust leather upper. The pre-yellowed mesh is featured on the lateral and medial panels, and this archival finish extends to the toggle lace closure system as well.

Like all AJ5, the tongues are notably thick and coated in a reflective 3M finish. However, unlike most AJ5s, this one is embroidered with the “A” logo of A Ma Maniére. Another branding is present on the heel tab in the Diffused Blue shade and it all sits atop a darkened Air midsole that is said to be inspired by World War II fighter jets. We’re buying it.

The number 23 is stitched along the heel to commemorate Michael Jordan‘s iconic jersey number, and it wouldn’t be an AMM collaboration without a very special shoebox and some very cool exclusives crafted specifically for this pair of Air Jordans.

If you want the Air Jordan 5 Diffused Blue to be part of your seasonal sneaker rotation, you need to pay attention. The release is scheduled, along with the Black colorway, for November 22nd at A Ma Maniére, Nike, the Snkrs app and select retailers worldwide for approximately 240 euros.
