Once upon a time, a boy walked a road far from conventions and impositions. Among the trees, a leaf got stuck on the side of his shoe. As he walked back to town, the leaf oxidized, turning into gold. What seemed like useless dirt was thus sublimated into a sign of uniqueness and preciousness.

AND THIS IS THE REALITY. GGDB is a slow brand capable of respecting and observing the rhythm of nature even in the daily life of the metropolis. This philosophy is translated into handmade sneakers that are each unique. Produced based on the legendary Superstar model, the Hi Star sneakers take this concept of uniqueness to a higher level. In fact, specialized artisans hand-apply a real 24-carat gold leaf to the right side of each pair of shoes. GGDB believes so much in the added value of craftsmanship and manual skills that even the branding is entirely handwritten around the shoe and on the edge of the sole. A sole that certainly doesn’t go unnoticed at a height of 5 cm. The brand from the Serenissima Republic has already launched the golden zecchino Hi Star sneaker in Seoul through a pop-up store.
