Gucci presents the second chapter of the DIY (Do It Yourself) service, offering brand enthusiasts new customizable products. Following the launch of the project featuring the iconic Dionysus Bag for Milan Fashion Week, the focus now shifts to a broader customization program including menswear, unisex jackets, and footwear for men and women. The service is available at the flagship store on via Montenapoleone in Milan.

The goal? To give customers the opportunity to express themselves through customization. The philosophy of creative director Alessandro Michele, rooted in a love for British punk attitude, supports the idea that “clothing is an expression of one’s personality and as such, men and women should feel naturally free to express themselves.”

Fully lined jackets are available in various silhouettes for day and evening; blazers, tuxedos, and coats can be customized with a wide selection of fabrics, buttons, appliques, and monogram embroideries. An important focus is on evening wear: classic shirts can be customized with different collar and cuff variations, and symbols and monograms can be added to make the garment unique. The offering also includes biker jackets in exotic leathers and calf adorned with studs, hand-painted decorations, unisex bombers, and denim jackets that can be customized with patches and embroideries inspired by Gucci’s symbolic elements like royal serpents, flowers, and bees.

In addition to clothing, the Gucci DIY service is available for footwear. The Ace sneaker can be customized with embroidered initials in different colors. Slippers are available in a variety of materials and colors, and can be customized with a choice of buckle (in silver or gold), initials printed on the inner sole, and the option to add a tiger head patch (in yellow, green, or blue) on some models. Finally, the classic men’s models New Signoria, lace-ups, monk straps, and loafers are offered in different materials and hues, and can be customized with initials printed on the inner sole.
