CONVERSE x CHINATOWN MARKET

Two of the most famous NBA teams and their success stories told through two Converse classics.

In collaboration with the vibrant Chinatown Market and featuring Jeff Hamilton, the Converse Pro Leather and Chuck 70 are dressed in the iconic jackets created by Hamilton and worn by some of the league’s finest over the past three decades.

Paying homage to Hamilton’s design language, the famous three-peat NBA championship of the Los Angeles Lakers in 2002 serves as inspiration for the first Pro Leather in the pack, a basketball classic made famous in 1976 by the unmistakable style of Julius “Dr. J” Erving. The Lakers-inspired Chuck 70 features a skyline graphic wrapping around the leather upper and a series of championship-inspired patchwork from those years.

The Bulls’ ’91 to ’96 Three-peat is commemorated through a mixed-color leather upper representing the team’s iconic colors; and, similar to the Los Angeles iteration, a Chicago skyline graphic wraps around the heel with a complementary custom patch overlay. The Chuck 70 completes the atmosphere of those years, also with a leather upper paying tribute to the classic Chicago Bulls color palette.

The Converse x Chinatown Market collection will be exclusively available at ChinatownMarket.com starting from March 6, and globally from March 12 at Converse.com and selected global retailers, in Italy the collection will be sold by One Block Down.
