After a couple of years of hiatus, Union LA celebrates its 30th anniversary with a special collection.
Union has chosen Jordan Brand to mark its 30th anniversary with a special collaboration called “Tent and Trail”. The iconic Air Jordan 4 takes center stage, making a highly anticipated comeback after a long period of leaks and teasers. The official confirmation of this imminent release has just been announced.
The entire collection is inspired by the ’80s and ’90s, when early experiments led young people to wear technical outdoor-inspired clothing in the city, featuring colors and materials specifically engineered for a more comfortable lifestyle. Colors and materials draw inspiration from camping life and the outdoors, with shades ranging from brown, sand, to ochre yellow. The first colorway to drop is the “Desert Moss”, boasting a suede upper in a dominant yellow hue mixed with famous tones such as “Dark Iris” and “Turquoise Blue”. On the other model, the “Taupe Haze” features suede combined with the “Blue Fury” and “Roma Green” colorways.
Union has announced that both colorways will see the light in June, though an exact date is yet to be confirmed. Additionally, in classic Union style, “Taupe Haze” will be an “in-store” exclusive, while “Desert Moss” will have wider distribution. Stay tuned for further details.
