It seems that, in addition to the collab on the Foamposite one with the Swoosh, CDG also has a collaboration in store with New Balance for the upcoming fall.

There are few brands in the world with such a diverse portfolio of collaborations as COMME des GARÇONS. The brand by Rei Kawakubo has worked with practically everyone, starting from Nike, ASICS, and Converse just to name a few. Earlier last week, we took a closer look at the upcoming COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One set for the FW21 collection. Well, it seems that it’s not the only CDG collaboration coming out this year.

Taking a closer look at the COMME des GARÇONS x New Balance 57/40, we notice an overall draped upper in a classic black, with a mix of suede, ripstop nylon, and GORE-TEX coming together to create a premium-looking NB silhouette. As always, there are minimal branding hints in this collaboration as well. A nod can be seen on the tongue with the text “CdGH New Balance 57/40,” perfectly contrasting the tonal black triple “N” logo in the center.

The COMME des GARÇONS x New Balance 57/40 is most likely to arrive towards the end of the year, barring any possible previews or delays related to the release of the new FW21 collections.
