From the sandy lands of the United Arab Emirates emerges a collaboration that highlights the cultural universality of the skateboarding world.
FRAME is the first and perhaps only skate shop based in Dubai that reflects Japanese cultural influences in a unique and distinctive setting. The founder, Peter Ahn, sought to combine skate culture with street art and high fashion, creating a place where people from all over the UAE could find progressive cultural references and energies.
In this cultural melting pot, the Nike SB x FRAME Dunk collaboration is born, paying homage to the developing youth culture in the UAE with a dual nod to key design elements, including the Swoosh and tongue. Furthermore, the sneaker highlights motifs, colors, and fabrics inspired by the local culture.
The Nike SB x FRAME Dunk arrives exclusively on FRAME on December 2 and globally on SNKRS on December 5.
