Goodbye Year of the Monkey! In China, just yesterday evening (Italian time), the Chun Jie was celebrated, which is the Spring Festival. With this celebration, highly cherished in all cities, the New Year was celebrated, officially beginning the Year of the Rooster. People born in the year of this animal – which, according to oriental history, presented itself before Buddha with eleven other creatures – are very careful, hardworking, resourceful, brave, talented, and believe strongly in their abilities. They are always active, friendly, and popular among people. They love to be the center of attention, as well as to appear beautiful and attractive.
The world of fashion also celebrates Chinese New Year by creating themed garments and accessories. Gucci, for example, has created a new model of iconic sneakers with rooster embroidery. Along with a deluxe keychain celebrating the creature. Puma, on the other hand, has created the new shoe Clyde CNY (Chinese New Year), which recalls, on the leather upper and in the details, the colors and nuances reminiscent of the unique feathers of the bird, while on the heel, the symbolic characters representing the new Chinese lunar year are printed in gold. Dolce & Gabbana presents a T-shirt with a stylized rooster on top, while Del Toro has created a white boot with electric blue design, in collaboration with the artist Eduardo Sarabia. Marc Jacobs, on the other hand, has created a credit card holder inspired by the Spring Festival. Finally, Moncler celebrates Chinese New Year with the new Special Edition jackets: two models of bomber, a modern reinterpretation of oriental taste, utilizing the classic colors of the celebrations by playing on the contrast created by the combination of red and gold. Both dominated by an elegant brocade print, the common thread of the entire capsule collection.
