Call Me By Your Name, the film by Luca Guadagnino based on the book of the same name is up for four Oscars; an all-Italian pride that represents a gem of the cinema of the beautiful country. The film is set in the summer, in a town in northern Italy during the eighties and there are many references to the S/S 2017 fashion; in many scenes the actors wear light blue shirts like the one proposed by designer Thom Browne, or striped t-shirts like the model signed Ami Alexandre Mattiussi, or the classic Lacoste polo shirts.

The pants lines are relaxed and echo the models made by Jil Sander or cotton and/or denim bermuda shorts, while the outerwear seen in the film is snug, like the model created by the brand OAMC. The protagonists often wear white leather sneakers similar to the Adidas models in the gallery, while they choose classic Ray Ban sunglasses to protect themselves from the sun’s rays.

To celebrate the successes of the film Call Me By Your Name, the portal Yoox recently put on sale a limited edition box set consisting of the novel in its original language, some film prints, and the signature of director Luca Guadagnino. The volume is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
