The L.A. collective Brain Dead and Reebok are back, and for their third collaboration, they have decided to rework the Zig Kinetica II.
Two colorways of the Brain Dead x Reebok Zig Kinetica II have recently emerged, one quite eccentric and the other slightly softer. The first features a sole with bolder colored details, with an upper that creates a tonal gray atmosphere. Thin gold motifs on both sides of the silhouette add a sense of depth. The other colorway leans mostly towards black, with a speckled midsole and a similar pattern along the medial and lateral sides, but this time shifting towards a darker green. Both models boast the Brain Dead logo on the tongue and insole.
Inspired by Japanese Kaiju Vynil vinyl toys, these Zig Kinetica II combine Brain Dead’s aesthetic with Reebok’s extensive technological arsenal. While the final destination is lifestyle, this model leaves no performance gaps. The midsole is injected with Reebok’s Floatride Fuel cushioning, wrapped with the Energy Shell.
The Brain Dead x Reebok Zig Kinetica II debut today, April 13th, on the Brain Dead webstore, at their physical location in Los Angeles, and in all Dover Street Market locations.
