The choice of a pair of Off-White sneakers may not be coincidental. The Out of Office sneakers unmistakably take hints from the design of Nike Dunks, a model much loved by Affleck, replacing the Swoosh with the arrow from the brand led by Ib Kamara in a color scheme closely resembling the famous Panda Dunks. The design also draws from 1990s basketball and running shoes, adding a calfskin leather upper and the inevitable rubber sole for a result that even convinced a diehard Nike fan like Ben Affleck. We don’t know if this was just a slight variation for the director or a new beginning, but we are sure that this “betrayal” will hardly sit well with sneaker enthusiasts who see Affleck as their guru.
