The legendary Japanese streetwear brand A Bathing Ape intends to reissue some milestones from the old OG collections.
After a myriad of colorful nuances that have adorned the BAPE STA and after a series of releases characterized by an extreme lack of innovation, it seems that the brand born in 1993 is about to retrace its steps, in particular the famous skate silhouette “SK8 STA” is ready to return to its original form. Not much different from the BAPE STA (which is a clear clone of the iconic Nike Air Force 1), the SK8 STA is the one that borrowed design elements from the Nike Dunk, which is currently experiencing its most epic resurgence.
The news comes directly from the leaker supreme_leaks_news, along with images showing both the High and Low versions of the sneaker. The images show that most models are made with suede, mixing leather and suede and highlighting the different parts of the upper. There is also a mix of color combinations ranging from dark tones to some lighter ones with hints of brighter colors.
The official date is not clear, however, expect to find the SK8 STA in various stores worldwide in the coming months.
