After the commercial successes of ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg, ASAP Nast jumps into collaborations with rappers.
ASAP Mob is an American hip hop collective that originated in the early 2000s in Harlem, New York. Although their debut in the music scene was in 2012, the collective, consisting of rappers, record producers, directors, and designers, has had many members over the years, including ASAP Yams, ASAP Bari, ASAP Kham, and more recent ones like ASAP Rocky and ASAP Ferg.
ASAP Nast made his debut with Reebok last year in the “Write Your Legacy” campaign with the launch of the Reebok Classic Leather Legacy and his Reebok Leather Classic. The ’70s-style runner was personalized by replacing the usual mesh upper with a brown denim-like fabric with diagonal lines throughout. The suede overlays on the toe and heel also adopt the same shade mentioned. Black leather elements can be found as overlays on the side, heel tab, and the ASAP Nast logo adjacent to the eyelets, adding the rapper’s personal touch. To liven up the palette, lavender elements are applied on the heel and toe box with a white midsole and a gray-brown rubber sole for a different twist.
The ASAP Nast x Reebok Classic Leather Legacy will be available on April 2nd on Reebok and select retailers.
