Winning team sticks together. And for Aries x New Balance, this is particularly true. The American sneaker giant and the London-based streetwear label (proudly Made in Italy) have been collaborating since 2018, with the debut drop featuring a limited edition series of 990v3, followed in 2019 by a unique reworking of the Made in England 991 sneaker, offered in two versions and accompanied by a first clothing capsule, then launching the New Balance 327 constructed with a full leather upper. Each release has been a success, with stocks selling out within hours of arrival in stores. Following the latest takeover on the 327, the two brands have decided to once again join forces, creating a unisex capsule inspired by the world of running. The highlight of the capsule is undoubtedly the New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v11, a pair of sneakers with an aerodynamic silhouette made light by the mesh upper, available in a range of flamboyant colorways from black to intense red.
The knitted texture provides gritty three-dimensional textures, merging fluo inserts between yellow and green, all mounted on a highly reactive sole. Accompanying the trainers is a range of athletic garments, all mixable, including the iconic Aries tracksuits and various technical running pieces, including leggings and tubular socks, all crafted in the same color palette as the shoes. A special mention for the new logo, which is a successful graphic crossover between the two brands, namely NB-AA, with the additional lettering Unbalanced that inspired the name of the entire capsule. The New Balance x Aries collection will be available from March 30th on the online store of Aries and on March 31st also on the e-shop of New Balance.
