Are sneakers getting simpler again? Judging by the new Nike Air Force 1 Baroque Brown by Supreme, it seems so

Supreme and Nike have been connected for years. Since 2002, the New York streetwear label and the Oregon-based sports company have collaborated on creating some of the most famous sneakers in history. It seems that the tradition continues now, with the brand new Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low Baroque Brown: a pair of relatively understated sneakers in an era of super-flashy trainers.

A sequel to the Black and White versions that debuted in 2020, the Baroque Brown model maintains the same design direction, with some noteworthy modifications. The previous monochromatic models were in leather, whereas this one is in dark brown suede.

What are the new Supreme x Nike like

There is, of course, the Swoosh on the sides. Also on the side, in a smaller size, the iconic rectangular red Supreme logo. The brown laces are thick, made of rope, adding a technical touch reminiscent of work boots. The rubber sole with the Air inscription, a hallmark of the Air Force 1, is in the same brown tone. All of this comes in a special box with the dual branding.

The new version of the Supreme Air Force 1 has a special feature. Since 1994, the New York brand has always stood out for its highly recognizable touch, but these shoes stand out because they are designed not to be noticed.

There isn’t much information available yet on the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 Low Baroque Brown. We know they will be released as part of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection and will be available exclusively on the Supreme website for 110 euros. That is if you are lucky enough to find them. And of course, on the resell site Stockx.
