After 30 years Reebok celebrates the return of the legendary Pump Omni Zone II

The Pump Omni Zone II became iconic in 1991 thanks to the performance of NBA champion Dee Brown.

On February 9, 1991, Dee Brown took the court in the Slam Dunk Contest in Charlotte, wearing the Boston Celtics jersey and sporting a new technology on his feet: the Reebok Pump Omni Zone II. The competition was fierce, but Dee elevated his performance to an extraordinary level with a dunk that became famous, capturing the attention of fans and viewers worldwide who were amazed and intrigued by Reebok’s Pump, which became a cultural phenomenon from that moment on.

The Pump technology, conceived by Paul Litchfield and the Reebok Advanced Concepts (RAC) team between late 1988 and early 1989, was adopted to enhance athletes’ performances on the basketball court, allowing players to achieve a personalized fit with a special air chamber integrated into the shoe.

30 years later, the legendary Reebok Pump Omni Zone II makes a comeback in the OG version featuring a black leather and mesh upper with white and orange accents, TPU support cage, and Hexalite cushioning system.

Reebok Pump Omni Zone II will be available on Reebok.it and select retailers starting from March 5.
