When something works, it doesn’t need constant changes, and the adidas Ultraboost sneakers work really well. This model is already one of the most popular running shoes, and for good reason. The BOOST midsole makes them comfortable for walking and running, while the design of the upper ensures almost perfect grip. And we’re not the only ones saying it. It will be hard to find a runner who doesn’t think the same way. So, for the latest adidas release, the technical part of the project remains the same because it doesn’t need any variation. However, the brand wouldn’t stay still for long. That’s why they now introduce the adidas Ultraboost M, a model that alters the look to give it that touch of color that many will like.

Under a jet black structure, the colorful midsole is visible. There are three models for three colors. One of them is vibrant red, the other is intense yellow, and the last one is a slightly purplish blue. But this is not just a simple design. All of them have a scale-like texture, and a play between lighter and darker shades that resembles snake skin. Above this detail are the black plastic reinforcements that wrap the Primeknit and secure the foot. Beneath the midsole, black Continental rubber soles complete the model.

The branding details are discreet but present. On one side, the iconic UltraBOOST that is engraved on the outer heel; and also repeated on the shoe’s insole. On the other side, the adidas logo, found on the tongue. This makes the adidas Ultraboost M the most elegant running shoe of all time, thanks to its black color, but the colorful detail on the midsole catapults it to the podium of cool shoes. The new adidas Ultraboost M is available on the adidas website for $180 (about €165).
