Those colorful were a bomb: liked and highly sold even to those who had never worn one before. So Pharrell Williams tries again and to do so calls upon four internationally renowned artists, who were asked to reinterpret part of the Superstar sneaker. Thus Todd James, contemporary New York artist, Zaha Hadid, British architect and designer, Cass Bird, American photographer, and Mr., contemporary Japanese artist, all set to work to reinterpret the iconic shell toe of the Superstar, which for the first time has become a blank canvas on which to imprint their expressive strength. The result is a capsule collection, available from August 7th, which will surely drive the many fans of adidas but also of Pharrell crazy, being the first to bring art and creativity into the world of Superstar.

Completing the collection are also four artworks by Pharrell himself that fully represent his vital energy and strong relationship with colors. Supershell is available in black and white versions so as to bring the artists’ works to the center stage. Each pair features a different graphic treatment on the right and left sneaker, offering the collection a continuous mix and match as well as a creative expression for those who wear them. Available at selected AW LAB stores and on aw-lab.com starting from August 7, 2015
