Adidas Gazelle Bold is the sneaker for those who love Gucci but don’t want to spend much

In March, Adidas and Gucci launched their second wave of sneakers approved by Harry Styles, a total of 11 models including four versions of his favorite Gazelle sneakers in black, blue, green, and gray. If, like many of us, you appreciated the vibrant aesthetic of those offerings but couldn’t justify the price, the new Adidas Gazelle Bold could be the shoe you are looking for.

Designed for Gucci fans who don’t have a sufficient bank account to dress in high fashion at all times of their day, the Gazelle Bold features a green suede structure contrasted with Cloud White stripes on the lateral and medial sides, with the Gazelle branding in gold foil. On the back, you will find a Lucid Pink heel tab that closely resembles one of the sneakers from the latest Guccidas collection. Is it a coincidence? We think not.

If you shift your focus to the front, you will notice the distinctive T-design of the Gazelle, first introduced in the ‘70s. This harks back to a model that revolutionized the entire Adidas profile: the overlay of the T-toe, the contrast of the three white stripes with the vibrant suede colors, the design profile never before seen at that time.
At the bottom, not just one, not even two, but three midsoles can be found. They all feature a completely white color combination and are made of rubber to make us appear taller and, at the same time, feel very comfortable.

In the last two months, old school Adidas sneakers have become incredibly popular. From the Campus 80s to the Forum Low, to the Samba and the Stan Smith, the excitement for vintage vibes has reached a level not seen in the sneaker enthusiast universe for a long time. As a result, many brands have delved into their archives to bring back colorways and silhouettes of the past, such as the Air Jordan 1 High Metallic Red from 1985 and the Stüssy x Nike Vandal High Deep Royal Blue, a model that has been off our radar for ages.

The Adidas Gazelle Bold Green is available starting from June 1, 2023, and will be sold at a price of 120 euros at Adidas and select sneaker stores worldwide. If you are not a fan of this Gucci color palette, don’t worry, as it will also be available in other color combinations.
