Pantofola d’Oro launches two eco-friendly sneakers in collaboration with ACBC, a leading company in sustainable product design.
ACBC, Anything Can Be Changed, an Italian company specializing in the design and production of sustainable footwear and products, and Pantofola d’Oro, a historic brand of sports and leisure footwear, come together in a project focused on innovation and sustainability.
This collaboration has led to the development of a line of sneakers with low environmental impact, resulting in two footwear options for the Spring-Summer 2021 collection: the “B-GOLF” and “Timeless”, made mostly from recycled materials.
The “B-GOLF” features a Re-Rubber sole, a material composed of 20% recycled rubber and 80% virgin rubber. The Recycled Foam insole, a trademark of ACBC sneakers, consists of 20% recycled material, with 15% coming from pre-consumption recycled insoles and 5% from recycled rubber.
The “Timeless” has a rubber sole, with the upper and lining made from Rebotilia, a material derived from the recycling of plastic bottles. The upper and lining come from the waste of 6 plastic bottles, for a total of 12.
The new Pantofola d’Oro sneakers will be available from February 2021 in all ACBC stores and on the e-commerce websites of both brands:
