Multilayered sole, disharmonic shape, and eccentric mood. Chunky sneakers are often anything but beautiful; nevertheless, they continue to be the most loved and purchased. For at least two seasons, fashion giants have decreed that these trainers are the coolest of the moment, sparking a hunt for the latest models. Here are the most popular ones, along with other more “classic” models, to purchase now, before they sell out.
Adidas Yung1 is inspired by the iconic Falcon Dorf model created in the late ’90s. This version recalls the style of the era, now back in vogue, with a multilayered look, oversized mesh and suede silhouette. The B22 model by Dior Homme, designed by Kris van Assche, features a sought-after design much loved by celebrities: a balanced mix of technical knit and calfskin with a raised rubber sole in white and black.
In multicolored leather, the Fendi sport shoes with a high wavy sole combine five different materials. The model in the gallery is made of nappa calfskin in black and burgundy tones, with shiny inserts and a heel covered in contrasting leather.
The Gucci Flashtreck shoes are inspired by the trekking world and designed with an oversized sole. The coolest models are in white or green. The Gucci logo is displayed in the SEGA graphic font for a dive into the ’80s and ’90s. They are definitely a must-have for the season. The Lanvin Cross Trainers are liked not only for their shape but especially for the colors used; a perfect chromatic mix for this fall-winter. The fine mesh fabric, metallic effect, and contrast laces make them one of the best models for the season. The Valentino Garavani sneakers in dark blue and red with embossed logo tongue, raised rubber sole, and lateral and rear logo are characterized by a design much cleaner than others. Therefore, they can also be worn with a formal outfit without risking any disharmony. Details make the difference. The Off-White 3.0 polo model is highly sought after online. After all, it is signed by Virgil Abloh, the coolest designer of the moment, who has been the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton since last March.
